The idea for WOMEESA was born at the Inaugral Dorothy Hill Women in Earth Sciences Symposium (Nov 2017) identifying a need to bring together women in Earth and Environmental Sciences throughout Australasia. The network was officially launched on International Women’s Day, March 8 2018.

WOMEESA is a not-for-profit organisation run by a committee of hard-working volunteers. Our running costs are covered by donations and sponsorship and are used to pay for events for our members and our website costs. You can support us financially by clicking on the donate button below.
